Dhruti Trust Empowers 200+ Students at Dr. Dharmambal Government Polytechnic College for Women
Dhruti Trust successfully conducted an impactful mental wellness workshop at Dr. Dharmambal Government Polytechnic College for Women on July 24, 2026.
The session, titled “Therapy is a tool, Breaking stigma, Building Strength,” was led by mental health professional Ms. Srishakthi V, Counselling Psychologist. It engaged over 200 first-year students, addressing critical mental health challenges and providing them with actionable tools to thrive both personally and academically.
Workshop Impact:
A post-workshop evaluation survey completed by the participants highlighted the deep necessity and resounding success of the initiative:

⭐ 100% Peer Recommendation: 100% of the surveyed students stated they would definitely recommend this workshop to their peers.

📈 High Engagement: 67% rated the facilitator and session structure as “Very Engaging.”

The overwhelming student feedback emphasized a strong desire for continuous engagement, including advanced wellness sessions, access to professional counseling support, and the establishment of student-led peer support initiatives on campus.
