On March 27, 2026, Dhruti Charitable Trust’s PEERS (Peer Engagement for Emotional Resilience & Support) initiative held a successful Art Therapy activities at Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women. The event reached the students, providing them with practical tools to manage stress and improve emotional clarity.
Facilitated by Ms. Srishakthi V in the Psychology Department Lab, the session was designed to be interactive and reflective. Students engaged in two primary therapeutic activities:

Mandala Art: Students practiced mindfulness by creating detailed circular patterns, a technique known to reduce anxiety.

The Tree of Life: This exercise allowed participants to visually map their roots (heritage), trunk (skills), and branches (hopes), reinforcing their sense of identity and support.
Peer-Led Success: A highlight of the activities were the leadership shown by the CTTE PEERS student team. Under the guidance of seniors and second-year students including Ms. Dilli Rani, Ms. Sabreen, Ms. Manha Fathima, Ms. Yuvashree, and Ms. Monika, the workshop exemplified the power of peer-led mental health advocacy.
